7 Layer Taco Dip

7 Layer Taco Dip

You'll need: Cream cheese Taco seasoning Guacamole Salsa Shredded lettuce Shredded cheese Green onions Sliced black olives

Place the softened cream cheese and taco seasoning in a large bowl. Mix with a hand mixer (or by hand) until combined.

Spread the taco seasoned cream cheese into a 9-inch  pie plate or 8x8 inch baking dish. I like using a glass dish so the layers are visible!

Top with a layer of guacamole. You can either make a homemade version or use store bought (I used store bought).

Top with a layer or salsa or pico de gallo. I used jarred salsa, and I drained it slightly before adding it to avoid a soggy dip.

Sprinkle the top with shredded lettuce. You can buy bagged pre-shredded lettuce to make this even easier.

Top with a layer of shredded cheese. You can use a Mexican blend cheese, colby jack, monterey jack, or even cheddar cheese here.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sliced black olives.  Don't like olives? Use fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, or avocado slices instead.

Refrigerate until ready to serve, and serve with tortilla chips for scooping it up.  For the full recipe, click  "Get the recipe" below!
