Ingredients: - Brown sugar - Granulated sugar - All-purpose flour - Salt - Butter - Vanilla extract - Eggs - Pecans - Chocolate chips - Pie shell or pie dough

In a large bowl, stir together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, and salt. Stir in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans (you can also use walnuts if you prefer, or leave out the nuts altogether).

Pour the cookie dough into the unbaked pie shell.  You can use either a pre-made pie shell or make your own pie dough.

Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until no longer gooey in the center.  Let cool slightly, and serve.
