Start by cooking the corn on the cob. Grilling is an easy way to add even more flavor.  Steaming, boiling, and microwaving work, too!

Combine 4 tablespoons unsalted butter with ¼ teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (like parsley, basil, thyme, or chives).

Spread the compound butter on top of hot corn on the cob, and serve with your favorite summer meal.
