– 1½ lbs round steak – ⅓ cup all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon sea salt – ¼ teaspoon black pepper – 1 yellow onion, sliced – 1 can crushed tomatoes – 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms – 1 green pepper, sliced – 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Cut the round  steak into strips.  Place in the crockpot along with the flour, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat. 

Add the onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, green pepper, and soy sauce.

Stir to combine. Cover and cook for 3–4 hours on high, or 6–7 hours on low.

Serve over rice or  buttered noodles.  I like adding a green veggie on the side, like roasted broccoli or a leafy green salad.
