Ingredients: – 1 (16 oz) bag egg noodles – 1 lb ground beef – 1 lb ground Italian sausage – 2 teaspoons dried oregano – ½ teaspoon garlic salt – 2 cups shredded mozzarella – 1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce

Cook the egg noodles according to package directions.  Meanwhile, cook and crumble the sausage and beef until cooked through. Stir in the garlic salt and half the oregano.

Place half of the cooked noodles in a 13x9 inch dish, followed by half of the meat and half of the sauce. Repeat.  Top with the cheese and the remaining oregano.

Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F, or until the casserole is warmed through and the cheese is melted. 

Want to use pepperoni instead?  Substitute 6 ounces of pepperoni for the sausage. Place a layer of pepperoni in the middle, and another layer on top of the cheese.
