You'll need:
Baby spinach
Fresh strawberries
Slivered almonds
Vegetable oil or olive oil
Apple cider vinegar
Sugar
Poppy seeds
Onion
Salt
Paprika
Slice the strawberries into thin slices.
Place them in a large bowl with the baby spinach (reserve a few berries for garnish).
Toast the slivered almonds in a skillet with a little oil and a pinch of salt.
You can also used sliced almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds.
Whisk together the poppy seed vinaigrette ingredients.
Alternatively, you can shake them all together in a mason jar with tight fitting lid.
Toss the spinach, berries, and almonds with half of the poppy seed dressing.
Taste and add more
dressing if desired.
