You'll need:
Bottom round roast
Chipotles in adobo
Brown sugar
Garlic salt
Sea salt
Cut the beef into ¼-inch thick slices. Combine the remaining ingredients and marinate overnight.
Place the beef in a single layer on a sheet pan lined with a metal rack.
Preheat oven to 175°F.
Bake for 4½–5 hours, or until the beef is very dry and chewy.
Let cool completely.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
