Toll House Cookie Bars

You'll need: Butter Sugar Brown sugar Vanilla Eggs Flour Baking soda + salt Chocolate chips

Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer.  You can also use a hand mixer, or mix these by hand.

Add the eggs and vanilla, and beat until combined. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Want a thin and crispy cookie bar, that's just a little chewy? Pat the dough into a jelly roll pan that measures 15x10 inches. Bake for 18–22 minutes at 350 degrees.

Want an extra-thick, chewy cookie bar?  Pat the dough into a 9x9 inch pan, and bake for 32–35 minutes.

Want a bar that's somewhere in the middle? Use a 13x9 inch baking dish, and bake for 23–27 minutes.  For the full recipe, click  "Get the recipe" below!
