You'll need:
Cooked turkey
Butter
Flour
Milk
Salt
Nutmeg
Chopped pimentos (keep reading for swaps!)
Melt butter in a large skillet. Stir in the flour.
Let cook for one minute while stirring.
Whisk in the milk, salt, and nutmeg, and whisk.
Let cook for 3–4 minutes, or until thickened slightly.
Stir in the pimentos and cooked turkey. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until warmed through.
Don't have pimentos?
Use peas, mushrooms, bell pepper, or corn instead!
Serve over egg noodles, rice, or leftover mashed potatoes.
