Mint Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix from Dollar General
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 15 chocolate mint wafers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the chocolate cookie mix, butter, egg, and water until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  • Use a cookie scoop to scoop 2 tablespoons of dough. Divide the scooped dough in half and flatten each half.
  • Place a chocolate mint wafer on top of one of the halves of dough, and top with the other half. Use your fingers to seal the edges.
  • Repeat with the remaining dough.
  • Place the cookie dough pieces 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let cool for 2 minutes, then remove and place on a cooling rack to finish cooling.
