Beef Chip Dip

This easy sour cream based dip is perfect with potato chips!

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ lb (4 oz) deli roast beef, thinly sliced and chopped finely
  • ½ medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


  • Combine all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Refrigerate dip for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to combine.


You can substitute two teaspoons of finely chopped fresh dill in place of the dried dill, if you'd like.
Any type of deli roast beef is fine—just make sure it is sliced relatively thinly.
