To serve: graham crackers and assorted fruit such as apple slices, banana slices, raspberries, and strawberries
Place the softened cream cheese and softened butter in a large bowl. Mix on high with a hand mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla, powdered sugar, brown sugar, and pinch of salt. Mix on low with a hand mixer until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips. Transfer to a serving bowl, and serve with assorted fresh fruit and graham crackers for dipping.
It is important that the butter and cream cheese are softened before making this recipe. Otherwise, the dip will be lumpy. Leave them out at room temperature for two hours to soften them before starting.
