Notes
How to choose ripe avocados. You can tell an avocado is ripe when it yields slightly to firm yet gentle pressure. It should not be mushy or brown inside. Let it sit. Placing the guacamole in the refrigerator for several hours before serving will allow the flavors to blend. If you cover it tightly and keep it refrigerated, it will retain its color. Serve and store. Serve your guacamole within 24 hours for best results. Cover leftovers tightly and store in the fridge. You can use lime juice instead of lemon juice, if you prefer.Have leftover guacamole? Here are some ideas for it!
