Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (10¾ oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 packet (¾ oz) brown gravy mix
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 cube steaks

Instructions
 

  • Place the cream of mushroom soup, onion, gravy mix, worcestershire sauce, and water in a slow cooker. Whisk to combine.
  • Add the cube steaks, turning to coat.
  • Cook on high for 3–4 hours or on low for 6–8 hours.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice.

Notes

Variations:
  • Substitute cream of chicken or cream of celery soup for the cream of mushroom soup.
  • Substitute 1 cup of beef broth in place of the brown gravy mix + water. The sauce will be a little thinner.
  • Use soy sauce instead of worcestershire sauce.
  • Add a packet of Lipton onion soup mix for even more savory onion flavor.
Make it ahead: you can make this recipe up to 3 days in advance. Store it in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave, slow cooker, or skillet.
